Essex Parts Attends Chin Track Days at VIR

Essex recently joined our friends at Chin Track Days for their mid-summer event at Virginia International Raceway. There's never a dull moment on VIR's 3+ miles of rolling and twisting tarmac, with 17 turns and 130 ft of elevation change in "Full Course" configuration. There was wide range of track-focused machinery on hand: from Miatas and Toyota 86s, to Corvettes and numerous Porsches, including several 911 Cup Cars and Cayman Clubsports. As always, we enjoyed meeting with our fellow motorsport enthusiasts, answering questions, and offering support on AP Racing by Essex and Ferodo products.

Even with a verdant summertime landscape all around, it's hard to miss a Lizard Green Porsche 991 GT3 RS! This one was attacking the course with our Radi-CAL Competition Brake kits, with CP9661 calipers at the front and CP9449 on the rear axle.

We also spotted this stunning Steel Gray Toyota GR86, upgraded with our latest AP Racing by Essex Electroless Nickel Plated Rad-CALs: CP9660 front kit and CP9451 rear fitment.

No track day would be complete without America's sports car rumbling around! This C5 Corvette was turning some impressive times with the help of our CP9660 Radi-CAL front kit.

We ran across our Charlotte-area neighbors from GMP Performance doing track support for customers, including this sinister new Porsche 992 GT3 RS on Forgeline Wheels. The owner has wisely chosen to replace the OE PCCB ceramic discs with our AP Racing by Essex 2-piece J Hook Discs at both the front and rear axles.

Another Porsche in the paddock wearing Forgeline Wheels and our 2-piece replacements (front kit / rear kit) was this satin blue Cayman GT4.
