AP Racing-equipped cars take 1-2 at the Daytona 500
02.28.2017Cars shod with AP Racing brakes dominated circle track racing this weekend, with a 1-2 at the Daytona 500, and numerous other wins in Super Late Models.
Kurt Busch took his 29th win at a chaotic Daytona crash-fest this weekend, followed by Ryan Blaney in his #21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford Fusion. Busch started 8th and led only a single lap in his #41 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Fusion, but that was enough to seal the victory. Both were leveraging AP Racing's ground-breaking Radi-CAL caliper and J Hook disc technologies. Essex and AP Racing would like to congratulate the teams and drivers for a job well done!
In Super Late Model action at New Smyrna's ½ mile short track, AP Racing's CP8250 and J-Hook Discs helped secure numerous awards including:
- Super Late Models- Harrison Burton 2/20/17 & 2/21/17- Also Harrison was the Super Late Model Champion for the week long series.
