Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kits Now Available for the 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V (V3)

Cadillac's third generation CTS-V somehow manages to contain 6.2 liters of supercharged brute force within a practical, luxurious, and fleet-footed package. It clearly benefits from platform and engine sharing with the Gen.6 Camaro ZL1, but at 4200 lb., it's also a good bit heavier with the extra doors and length tacked on. Pushing this sort of weight around a road course, at the speeds made possible by 640 horsepower, requires massive braking power to rein things in before every corner. The factory brake system addresses the vehicle's weight with a correspondingly large amount of mass in the rotors and calipers. But as usual, the stock parts just aren't as effective or efficient on a track as dedicated racing components.

Fortunately, at Essex we've already developed Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kits for the Camaro ZL1, and we can now confirm they bolt straight onto the 2016-2019 CTS-V. Our kits feature track-proven components that will better absorb and withstand elevated temperatures, and they are significantly lighter than the stock items as well. For example, our largest system shaves over 25 lbs. of unsprung weight vs. the OEM brakes, and our smaller systems save even more! We offer our 390mm front kits with either a 54mm or 62mm radial depth, with the larger D62 kit being recommended for cars with significant power mods, slick tires and/or aero upgrades.
