02.14.2024When it initially broke the long standing Corvette mold in 2020, the mid-engined C8 Stingray was already a rolling inflection point for the brand. However, with a even wilder exotic-inspired flat-plane crank V8, Chevy's latest Z06 throws yet another chapter of the old Vette rulebook right out the window. To help reign in all 670 horsepower from the 5.5L high-winding powerplant, we are thrilled to release our larger 390mm and 378mm Competition Brake Kit options!

Front Brake Kit Options (click each kit below for more info)

- Saves approximately 9 unsprung lbs. on front end vs. OEM Z06 Iron System

- Increased disc diameter to 390mm and thickness to 36mm without significantly increasing weight over our previous 372mm C8 systems

- Features AP Racing CP9668 Radi-CAL calipers with 25mm (1 inch) thick pads for extreme durability!
- Simple pad change with two bolts vs. the OEM spring clip that is retained by multiple pins which are tedious to align and secure
- Ventilated, domed back, stainless steel pistons keep heat out of the brake fluid and provide an ultra-firm pedal
- Mitigation of pad knockback via anti-knockback springs behind the caliper pistons
- Anodized or ENP (Electroless Nickel Plated) caliper finishes that are resistant to wear and deterioration at elevated temperatures
