"Professional Awesome Racing overcame substantial hurdles to win the Global Time Attack/Super Lap Finale at Buttonwillow Raceway. The team showcased its never-say-die attitude while dealing with electrical gremlins, a power steering pump failure, damaged bodywork and even an oil fire! Jeff Westphal piloted the Professional Awesome Evo to a lap time of 1:42.694 in the final session of the final day. This improves upon the existing lap record set by the team in 2014 and moves the Professional Awesome Evo past the venerable HKS CT230R Evo to 6th fastest time attack car to compete at Super Lap Battle.
