Rob Harper won the GT Class of the United States Touring Car Championship in 2018 with his C5 Corvette, shod with an Essex Designed AP Racing Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kit. You can see more details on his win in our prior blog entry. Rob recently sent us a video clip from his Sonoma race that exemplifies the difference brakes can make in a tightly contested race. The commentators specifically call out the power of the AP Racing brakes in the video at the 11:20, 11:40, and 24:40 marks (which is rare for commentators to do). With some excellent driving, Rob ultimately wears his competitor down under braking to take the lead and win. After the race Rob told us that our brakes were absolutely critical to his success, and that he would have not won the race or championship without them.
